The Nooorrth!

So here we are, our first stop, in the NOOORRTH! Already 3 weeks here and of course impossible not to talk about the weather. However, despite our prejudices about the weather in this country, which we never know how to call (England, United Kingdom or Great Britain), we were pleasantly surprised because we’ve had only one rainy day up until now.

We take advantage of this to do some excursions. We have already visited Stonehenge, Salisbury, the Isle of Wight, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.

Stonehenge

Salisbury's cathedral

The Needles - Isle of Wight

Durdle Door

Lulworth Cove

Of course, this is not why we are here and I confirm, David is full of determination to learn the language of Shakespeare. We try to speak only English, even between us, which gives some really hilarious moments related to the language when for example he asks me: “Where is my skirt ? ” instead of shirt or “I caught the kitchen” instead of chicken. Because yes, there are 4 chickens at the back of the garden, which is pretty cool when you like eggs. Except when they try to escape (the chickens not the eggs ;-))…
